Garden Valley was established in 1852 and was named for the fact that it sold produce to the miners. Dr. Boone and Jean Mora planted the original blueberry/blackberry patch. Started the Goji berries from seeds. Dean & Terrie Cook took over and Berry Heaven was born. Giving life to the U-PICK farm open to the public with Blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. ties Berry Heaven has the East Coast rabbit eye blueberries. Harvest begins in late May continuing thru September and into October. Thornless blackberries start sweetening and are ready for picking.

Hello All,
We want to thank those who have came out to pick berries. But we will have to close Saturday and Sunday to allow fruit to ripen. Hoping to give it a couple days to a week to see what ripens. We don’t want anyone disappointed with what’s available. I’m hoping Tuesday to post what new dates we will be open for u pickers.
