Try our classic New York style navel-cut Beef Pastrami! Called the "king" of pastrami because of its rich, marbled, and intensely flavorful cut from the beef belly. Our Breakfast Ham is a soft, tender cold cut made from fresh ground pork and has a delectable savory, buttery flavor. Our homemade Frankfurters are naturally flavored with white pepper and nutmeg...no fillers, artificial flavors or colors! Piast Meats & Provisions has been a Garfield staple since 1991, and it is the kind of place that gives you a reason to come for lunch and another reason to leave with a bag full of food.

It is a family-owned Polish market built around house-smoked meats, small-batch production, prepared foods, groceries and a serious deli counter. The newer sandwich menu takes all of that tradition and turns it into something that feels much more current, including giant pastrami sandwiches, kielbasa creations and one very legit hot honey chicken sandwich.

That is what makes Piast interesting to me. It is not trying to become something completely different. It is taking what it already does well and giving everyone another reason to check them out.

Go hungry, walk the whole market, and leave room in the car for whatever you end up bringing home.
