Wishing a very happy Mother's Day to all mamusias and babcias! In Poland, "Dzień Matki" is a uniquely heartwarming occasion. Unlike in many other countries where the date changes every year, Poland always observes it on May 26. Adults celebrate by visiting their mothers with bouquets of spring flowers. In kindergartens and primary schools, children recite poetry, perform short plays, and sing songs for their mothers, who are invited to watch. Children also prepare "laurki", handmade greeting cards decorated with paper flowers, hearts, and hand-written poems.
