Farmer Frank's Produce Farmer Frank's Produce sells in-season produce straight from the field. We also have a commercial kitchen where we bake, cook, pickle and preserve.

We have a farm where we raise produce, strawberries, pumpkins, watermelons, etc and gather chicken and duck eggs. We offer all sorts of pies, cakes, rolls, stews, dumplings, chicken salad, pimento cheese, cookies......the list goes on. Everything is available at our farm stand. NOW HIRING: (PLEASE SHARE)

Farm Stand Help - Responsibilities include CUSTOMER SERVICE, cleaning produce, stocking produce, cleaning/fronting all farm stand products, taking care of and selling chicks, lifting up to 50 pounds and sometimes more. Must be able to count money. Needed for Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 to 6. May have to work over if stand is busy. Salary discussed at interview.

Field Helper - Assist with planting, picking, weeding, etc.....EVERYTHING involving the production of produce. You will get hot and dirty. Lifting and stooping are required. Must be available when needed which could be any day(s) of the week. Salary will be discussed during interview.

Stop by for an application. Background checks are conducted. Must be 18 years old.

Due to a group of people thinking they can put a few dollars in the box yet get well over the amount due, we have to make changes. I understand that Sunbury is having the same issues with these people. I don't know about Sunbury, BUT I PROSECUTE. Changes made:

1. You no longer can check yourself out. Paid personnel will be at the stand to count up your purchase and take your money. (extra expense)

2. Hours may change as well. If we are not home, stand will be closed.

3. A camera system has been installed within the payment box to show what you actually paid. (very expensive)

4. Our existing camera system picks up on all vehicles entering the property and even going down the road and not entering. Cameras are within the buildings and outside.

We (along with Sunbury) work very hard to provide our community with fresh veggies and good homecooked foods. It is a shame that the good people of Gates with suffer because of the thieves. But I will guarantee you one thing. When you are caught, you will be prosecuted. No threat. Just facts. I can give you a few I have put away already if you like.
