IN REAL LIFE: On the farm this time of year, I tend to cut back plants that did not get a good trim in the fall, amongst many other tasks. Only another 4000 ish plants to go, I'm half done! Pray for my back friends... it thanks you in advance 🌼💐🌺

📸 Capturing this moment was one of my all-time favorites. Why? Because the groom called me with the most beautiful proposal idea I've ever heard - he had an amazing plan and needed someone to help him bring it to fruition. 🫶

I'm no actor, however, I played my part well (patting myself on the back). I pretended it was an everyday photoshoot and asked the lovely lady to come take some solo photos with me so I could adjust my camera settings... it was a distraction so he could grab the ring. I then took photos of the couple together out in the fields, next was a leisure golf cart tour to "the spot." I asked if they would like to hear some soothing music, of course they said yes... it was his song for her (part of the plan). From there my photos tell the story quite well! Spoiler: SHE SAID YES! 💍💍💍

1 year ago we were hit by an ice storm that destroyed our forests, took out the power lines on every road, and left us using our survival skills for 13 days... that is stating it mildly. Today, the anxiety was high as we watched, hour by hour, the ice line our trees once again. Branches started falling around 6pm, but we are thankful that it was not the magnitude of the ice storm just 1 year ago. This video is of today 04.02.2026
