The Little Green Market Selling our own chemical-free produce since 2009 The Little Green Market is the public face of Free Soil Farm in the Village of Geneseo.

Last night we began replacing our 6-foot-tall plastic deer fence, that the deer have been able to go over, under and through, with this 8-foot-tall steel deer fence, that they definitely will not be able to go through!

It’s been a good year for ground cherries. We currently have over 40 quarts ready for sale at the Geneseo and Perry farmers markets this week. That’s not counting the 10 quarts that we’ve already made into delicious ground cherry jam!
