Come see us in Berne Swiss Heritage Village Festival coming Saturday,September 12, 2026.
We will be there on Friday as well, but it is open only for the fourth grade "students day" for the multiple school's around our area.
So come to the festival on Saturday at the Village where it will be opened to the public.
Come visit us all.
You can come by our boith and have your picture taken in our new banners
(made by Raising 3:23 printing service)
and learn all about honeybees.
And have an opportunity to watch Jeff spit tacks, just like they used to when they made furniture by hand.
Then continue your visit through the village, where you will enjoy a wonderful step back in time.
Strolling through the combo little church and one room school house. Make some homemade butter.
Walk through a farm house where you can go out back, to try your hand at washing clothes without electricity in a hand cranked machine where you use a roller to ring out the water.
Tour several little businesses, like a doctor/dentist office.
A really awesome large barn built in the hillside.
Where you can go inside, pet a few animals, see some crafts.
Then take a stroll to an original old timey cabin in the woods, strolling through the trails that lead to battle field where they have a real cannon, that they set off several times throughout the day.
Watch them prepare and jar up some homemade apple butter that you can buy to take home or watch them press apple's to make delicious apple cider, that you can buy and take home as well.
You will even get to play some old time games and activities while you laugh and have tons of fun.
There will be a food truck available with lots of delicious foods. And dont forget the annual Kettle corn that is made over the open fire while you wait.
