OK folks...It's finally official now! Our opening day this year at Grabelsek Vineyards πŸ‡ will be on Wednesday, September 16th.☺️😁☺️ Yay!!! We will be open for picking Mondays through Saturdays from 9am-5pm and on Sundays from 1pm -5pm If you might need extended hours for your group after 5pm...please call to make an appointment as we will be closed for the day at 5pm each day. Our cost is 50 cents per pound this year with a 20 pound minimum as usual. Please remember we are cash or check only, no credit or debit cards. You can bring your own containers and clippers if you want to but...we do provide boxes to pick into and clippers for picking along with a wagon to pull your πŸ‡grapes πŸ‡down the row with. πŸ˜ƒ For your convenience...we also have various quantities of both Concord & Niagra grapes on our grape stand for sale in 1qt...2qt...4qt...& 8qt.(1 peck) boxes of πŸ‡"already picked" grapes πŸ‡for those customers that dont really want to or... have the time to do U-Pick themselves. 😊 And...because honey is just...DELICIOUS ☺️...there will also be local honey 🐝sold again in several different size jars and even the honeycomb dripping with raw honey again this year. 🐝 (mmmm...πŸ˜‹ ) We also provide a "handicapped accessible" porta-potty on the premises for your convenience & water for washing your hands after picking. We usually have u-pick for 2 to 3 weeks and as most of you know by now...they just get sweeter every day so... there is plenty of time to pick but...when they're gone...they're gone for yet another year so...come and enjoy an afternoon or morning walking in the vineyards... smelling the sweet aroma πŸ‡of the ripened grapes...and just enjoying nature πŸŒ»πŸ¦‹πŸŒ»with your family & friends. Hope to see you all soon! β˜ΊοΈπŸ’•β˜ΊοΈ

Prayer warriors.....Please agree with us as we pray πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™for our grape vineyard & all the vineyards and orchards tonight in our area to be spared from the predicted freezing temperatures. πŸ₯Ά (The buds are looking so good but...so susceptible right now.) But...our God is definitely able to keep the air just a little bit warmer and gently moving! πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ Thank you everyone for your prayers! πŸ₯°

Wayne's been checking and pounding end posts...brush hogging the grapes vines trimmed off during the winter months and now stretching wires for us ladies to tie as we all work feverishly trying to be done ahead of the new buds constantly " pushing their little heads out" so as not to knock too many off and lose them. πŸ˜’ After all this work...there is such a transformation from the bushy vines rambling everywhere to...orderly rows tied onto tightly stretched wires and cleared aisles to be able to walk freely in. 😁 Also...always praying for no frost that could devastate the new buds! We wanted to share a few pics of the spring work going on at the vineyard at this time. 😊
