We are grateful for the angels among us. Yesterday, we had a customer get choked while eating lunch at the store. Another quick acting customer jumped into action, performed the Heimlich maneuver and prevented the situation from becoming more serious!

In farming, there are lots of things out of our control. We plant crops and hope for the best, but many factors effect the outcome. Sometimes it’s drought, sometimes high winds or too much rain, and sometimes it’s pests- bugs, birds, and raccoons.
Bugs 🐛, birds 🐧 and raccoons 🦝 is what has gotten into this field of sweet corn 🌽 They seem@to@like peaches and cream corn as much as everyone else.
We will be picking white corn this week though.
