We want to begin by thanking each of you for your support. Many of you have asked where you can find your favorite products, and whether our herbalist will continue offering consultations and wellness classes.
First and foremost, Jack’s health remains our top priority, and that will continue to guide our decisions. At this time, we don’t know exactly what direction our herbalism offerings may take, but that decision won’t be made anytime soon.
In the meantime, we’re happy to share a couple of wonderful local spots where you can find the products you love:
🌿 Piedmont Country Store in Monroe
This is our top recommendation for one-stop shopping. They carry Keziah Family Farms beef, chicken, and pork; Ashe County Cheese; KK’s Bread and creamers; fresh local produce; Seates Syrups—and so much more! Plus, you can enjoy their hand-dipped ice cream on the covered porch while taking in the beautiful countryside. Be sure to tell them Freedom Acres Farm sent you!
🌿 Porter Farms (Mt. Pleasant Rd.)
Closer to us, Porter Farms offers their own pasture-raised beef, 8th Generation Farms raw milk and chicken, Millet’s Sourdough bread, and a variety of local artisan products. They’re also a Rowe Casa retailer—a wellness line definitely worth exploring.
We are grateful for your continued encouragement and support during this time. 💚
