My name is Jesse and I’m producing vegetables, herbs, flowers, seeds, and geeky experiments on land I’m leasing at Made in Ghent. Even when I was a tiny terror I would help my mom and grandma with the garden. In the recent past I’ve explored a variety of different systems by working at places like The Pfeiffer Center, Turtle Tree Seed Initiative, and Stone Barns Center. My aim is to build healthy
soils and grow nourishing plants in the context of this ecosystem. I’ll be pursuing a blend of natural farming (Masanobu Fukuoka) and biodynamic agriculture (Rudolf Steiner), both of which are robust forms of holistic management, as well as experimenting with innovative production methods. You have three ways to get your hands on fresh field goodies in season.
1) Order Tuesday or Thursday for next day pickup at the farm.
2) Order Monday or Wednesday for next night delivery (depending on your location).
