One of the hardest parts about growing carrots is waiting for 70 to 90 days before you get to eat them. 😋😋😋. We probably need to wait for two or three more weeks before we can start harvesting these sweet wonders.

Nebraska Extension is partnering with the Nebraska Recycling Council to host a Backyard Composting Program in Kearney, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. CDT. Attendees will be entered in a raffle to win a home composter.
Program will be held at the Buffalo County Extension Office, 1400 E. 34th Street
