Okay… we officially owe some people an apology this morning. 😬
Jennifer (the baker behind all your cinnamon rolls, sourdough, cookies, and sweet breads) is currently out of town, and the girls and I have spent the morning watching car after car try to pull into the farm stand. Honestly, it’s been kind of heartbreaking.
To make matters worse… the new website that was supposed to launch this week has fought us every step of the way. Every bug imaginable. Every setback possible. What should have been simple has turned into an absolute nightmare behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, out of pure determination to get your baked goods fix 😂... many of you somehow found our OLD Bakesy ordering link and started placing orders through it.
Here’s the crazy part:
We had NO idea the old app was still active.
A customer called this morning asking about cinnamon roll pickup, which tipped me off that something was wrong. Sure enough… there were a bunch of orders sitting in the old system waiting for us.
So if you recently placed an online order:
📞 Check your voicemail/messages.
I’m personally reaching out to everyone today to confirm pickup dates and times.
And for everyone who tried stopping by this morning…
there’s a good chance you never saw our Facebook posts announcing that we shifted into Summer Operations.
We’re not gone.
We’re not closing.
We’re just trying to survive the chaos of building a better system while juggling farm life, family life, and a one-person bakery operation. 😂
I’m actively working on the new website every single day and fighting through the issues as fast as possible so we can finally make ordering easier for everyone.
