04/30/2025
Dear friends and neighbors,
After a lot of thoughtful reflection, we’ve made the decision not to open the farmers market for the 2025 season. While this news may be disappointing, we want to share the reasons behind it with honesty and appreciation for all of you who continue to support this community effort.
This market has always been about more than just produce—it’s been about connection, collaboration, and the shared goal of building something meaningful together. Over the past few years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to work with dedicated vendors, farmers, and volunteers who made that vision possible.
This year, we faced some significant challenges. One of our long-time produce vendors, who played a key role in the market’s success, passed away unexpectedly. Their absence is deeply felt, and their contributions will not be forgotten. Alongside this loss, changes in vendor availability and limited seasonal produce early in the summer made it clear that opening the market for just a short time wouldn’t serve our community or providers well.
Rather than move forward with uncertainty or compromise the experience we want to offer, we’ve chosen to close down the market. We’re grateful to every one of you who has shopped, sold, volunteered, or simply shown up over the years. Your support is what has made the market special.
Thank you for understanding and for being part of something meaningful.
