Rosie's Cozy Kitchen We specialize in subs using our homemade sub rolls. We also offer a variety of homemade bakery item We are a subshop/bakery located in Gladys, VA.

We bake our own sub rolls, hotdog buns, and hamburger buns daily, as well as a variety of loaf breads, quick breads, pies, cheesecakes, and cookies. We are also well known for our homemade chicken salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, and cole slaw. in addition to subs and bakery items, we also sell Rock Stable Meats beef and pork products, Homestead Creamery milk and ice cream, and a variety of candy, chocolate covered items, and canned goods from several different suppliers.

A wonderful Thursday morning to you!

Strawberry season is basically over, but we still have strawberry cheesecake, strawberry torte, and strawberry shortcake slices available... probably through the end of this week.

Next week is a scheduling change...we will be closed on Tuesday, June 9.

A happy Wednesday morning to you!

In today's post we have several pictures of available items from Rock Stable Meats. Their frozen beef and pork products are excellent, and these products can be found in the dining room freezers. They also currently have goat sausage and ground goat.

There are a lot of dairy options in the dining room fridge...yogurt, cottage cheese, butter, cheese spreads, and a dozen or so different kinds of sliced cheese as well as prepackaged 8 oz blocks. The sliced smoked cheese options are a favorite for a lot of people.

Our regular business hours are 10 - 6 Tuesday through Friday, and 10 - 2 on Saturday. We will be closed next Tuesday, June 9.

A good Tuesday morning to you!

The special at Rosie's today is the house roast beef sub. Roast beef and cheddar cheese on your choice of our homemade white, wheat, or Italian parmesan sub roll; toasted, and then topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, and Southwest sauce.

We do have an upcoming scheduling change. We will be closed one week from today... Tuesday, June 9.

Our Saturday hours are 10 - 2, so drop by for a sub, and then look around for additional items. Don't forget the shelves, refrigerator, and freezers in the dining room area...butter, eggs, bacon, sausage, cottage cheese, yogurt, Lebanon bologna, cheese, coffee, seasonings, ice cream, frozen beef and pork...even dog treats...and hand carved wood products from Senegal, Africa.

Our newest new item is the Totally Rad marinara sauce.

The strawberry season is wrapping up, so we won't have many days of strawberry items left. At this point we still have strawberry shortcake, strawberry cake roll, strawberry torte, and strawberry cheesecake.

We continue to be impressed with and enjoy Javataza coffee. Cowboy Blend and Costa Rican Dark Roast are at the top of my list, while Fog Mountain Blend and House Blend are favorites of my wife.

Our main supplier is Walnut Creek, based in Ohio. Over the past few years they have really broadened their selection of items, and as a result, we started carrying more of their items. So far we've been extremely pleased with their quality, and we have a variety of their grocery items...butter, bacon, smoked sausage, meats and cheeses...and other things!

The special at Rosie's today is the BLT sub. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on your choice of our homemade white, wheat, or Italian parmesan sub roll.
