We're excited to announce the incredible lineup of vendors who will be participating in the second market of the season, taking place on June 11 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Glen Burnie Town Center.

There will be market bags and a limited number of $5.00 Glen Burnie Farmers Market Bucks, which can be spent at any of this week’s vendors or food trucks, so scroll through and be sure to get to the town center early on June 11!

Thanks to all the amazing vendors and visitors who made the first Glen Burnie Farmers Market of the season such a success!

The evening featured nearly 20 small businesses, two fantastic food trucks, and terrific tunes – plus endless positive vibes filling a plaza that was transformed almost exactly one year ago.

Scroll through to see some images from opening day and please plan to stop by an upcoming market. They'll be taking place every Thursday from 4-7PM through September 24 - and, thanks to the generous support of The Bank of Glen Burnie, there will be free custom market bags and a limited number of $5.00 vouchers that can be spent with any vendor (aka Market Bucks) every week!

Attention local artists!

AAEDC is pleased to announce the issuance of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) that will identify an artist (or artist team) with experience in environmental, iconographic, and conceptual solutions for public art for a large-scale facade enhancement project at the Glen Burnie Public Parking Garage.

Three artists or teams of artists will be selected and provided a $1,500 stipend to develop a concept for the façade enhancement, and the artist with the final selected design will receive an all-inclusive budget of $149,500 for the project.

Applications are due by June 22, 2026, so please visit the RFQ to learn more about this exciting opportunity today!

With the first Glen Burnie Farmers Market just three weeks away, we’re thrilled to announce the amazing group of 30+ vendors that will be participating in the market this year!

They run the gamut, from farmers and bakers to crafters and creators – and, of course, don’t forget the 17 food trucks and 17 musicians that will be serving up delicious cuisine and tunes throughout the season!

We’re excited to be partnering with Anne Arundel County Government to host the Earth Day Community Clean-Up and Native Plant Sale on Saturday, April 25 from 1:00-3:00PM at the Glen Burnie Town Center.

The event will include a family-friendly clean-up, county resource tables, and a wide variety of beautiful native plants for sale.
