Happy International Women’s Day to the Lakeview ladies! These women are the lifeblood of our operation and play a huge part in every single deer we process. From the tarp you drop your deer on, to skinning, labeling, washing, testing, cutting, grinding, packaging, making jerky and summer sausage, and all of the jobs behind the scenes, MANY of the deer are processed by women from start to finish. They endure freezing cold temps, stinky gut-shot deer, heavy lifting, cuts and bruises, swollen and arthritic fingers, impossible orders, mountains of dishes, long hours, limited sleep, and condescending remarks, but they are the best at what they do and they get it done! Thank you all so much! Slay, queens!
