It's 4:30 p.m.

You open the refrigerator...

You stare for a minute...

Close the door.

Open the cupboard.

Close that too.

Now you're wondering, "What on earth am I making for supper?" 😩

Sound familiar?

I've been there more times than I can count.

Life gets busy. Between work, kids, appointments, sports, and everything else on the calendar, dinner is often the last thing we think about...until everyone is asking, "What's for supper?"

Here's what I've learned over the years:

Meal planning isn't about having a perfect schedule.

Meal prepping isn't about spending your entire Sunday in the kitchen.

It's about making one decision today that makes your week a little easier.

Sometimes that means writing down five meals before you grocery shop.

Sometimes it's browning hamburger or cooking chicken ahead of time.

Sometimes it's chopping vegetables or mixing up ingredients so dinner comes together in 20 minutes instead of an hour.

Those little things add up.

They save time.
They save money.
They cut down on food waste.
And best of all...they take away that daily stress of figuring out what's for supper.

I believe that feeding your family shouldn't feel overwhelming.

It should feel doable.
