š§µšŖ” ā¤ļø CALLING ALL āMEMAW MAKERS!ā
Are you one of those people who looks at something old and thinksā¦
āWell, Iām certainly not throwing THAT away!ā
Do you make things that are a little vintage, a little quirky, maybe repurposed, handmade, crocheted, quilted, painted, sewn, thrown on a pottery wheel⦠or simply something you wonāt find sitting on a shelf at a big-box store?
Weāre looking for you!
This fall, weāre adding a little Makersā Cupboard to Koons Homestead Marketāa place for local makers to share and sell their creations.
And when we say maker, we mean ANYONE who makes! ā¤ļø
You donāt need to own a business.
You donāt need a fancy logo.
You donāt need professional packaging.
You donāt even need to call yourself an artist.
And you donāt even have to be a Memaw! š
Maybe youāre a kid making things in your bedroom.
Maybe youāre a grandma quilting at night while you watch TV.
Maybe youāre a grandpa tinkering in the garage or woodshop.
Maybe you have a book full of sketches that just need a vintage frame.
Or maybe, like me, youāre someone who sees an old, forgotten thing and thinksā¦
āI can do something with that!ā
We want to see it!
Pottery, quilts, crochet, sewing, woodworking, folk art, jewelry, repurposed treasures, seasonal creations, and wonderfully odd little things that donāt quite fit into a category.
New things made the old-fashioned way.
Old things given a new purpose.
Handmade things that are perfectly imperfect. ā¤ļø
If you make something with your own two hands and think it might belong at Koons Homestead Market, send us a message and show us what you make!
There might just be a little shelf in The Makersā Cupboard waiting for you. š»
