We are sorry to say that our pea season has come to an end. A drought, excessive 100 degree days and now over 15 inches of rain in a couple of weeks have been brutal on the crop. We suffered major loss and were unable to fill many of our customers orders. We did the best we could with the weather conditions we had. We hate that we had such significant loss for our customers. We hate that our employees were unable to work the many hours they expected. Thank you all for your support this year and we can only pray that the 2027 will be a better year for peas. We hope 2027 will be a much better year for all of agriculture. Many crops were lost or seriously damaged this 2026 season. As always we thank you for your support at

We will be having Dixie Lee peas. Many don’t think if they don’t get their peas the first week there is none. That is not a true. Yes we have lost some of the first planting. We have several more plantings to come. So we appreciate your patience and hope to get to many of our customers within a week. Thanks again for understanding and we hope to be contacting you soon!

We are thankful we only lost somethings that can be replaced. Part of one of our produce shelters was blown to pieces this afternoon from a severe thunderstorm. Almost 7 inches of rain in 90 minutes, strong winds and severe lightnin. Thanks to all
our family and friends who checked on us and offered help.

Many continue to inquire about our Dixie Lee peas. Yes we will have some. They are delayed due to the drought situation. Yes we will have Dixie Lee peas this year. The drought has us a week or so behind in harvest. We pray that we get some much needed rain soon. We will start updating every few days as hopefully soon be shelling peas.….
