Where the goal is to supply our local communities with affordable, hand grown fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, spices, cheeses, breads, therapeuticals and kitchen pantry staples. Through the development of our special products line, we hope to employ many, local community residents. At SomerLand Farms we strive to utilize as many self sustaining farming practices as possible. Our water demand is

curbed through the use of drip irrigation, rain harvesting and proper mulching techniques. All organic material is recycled through various compost heaps distributed throughout the property. Our products include:High Quality, Hand Grown Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Berries, Nuts, Cheeses, Butter, Cage Free Eggs, Breads, Herbs & Spices. Our Special Products line includes Gourmet Pickles, Ghirdinair, Relishes, Salsas, Jellies and Preserves, Pickled Okra, Pickled Eggs, Pickled Asparagus, Lotions/Soaps, Therapeuticals & much, much more.

If it's Friday, then it's meet the ladies' day @ SomerLand Farms.
Allow me to introduce Miss Fatty Patty. She is a 7 month old Barred Rock pullet which is an all-time favorite heritage breed. She's extremely friendly & comes running (waddling) when she sees me. She Lays large brown eggs, as many as 280 per year. If you come to see her, you better bring treats (preferably grapes). She didn't get the name
