This has been our crew for 6 years, We've stood/ sat across from each other every single day. (Except the weekends). We've shared so many laughs, cries, family events, health updates, life events, just everything. Last night we lost a very good friend, coworker, our employee, Hollis Smith. 1 of the good 1s! His love for his wife i envied every single day watching him look for her, look out for her, worry about! True love! Hes a legend I can tell ya! Not a bad story about the guy i bet! If not I dont wanna hear it!! First 1 to see if there was work tomorrow, first 1 to forget his coat tho! He never missed a stop at the candy dish either! He'd bring himself a couple pieces and drop 1 off for Ellen! Said he needed some energy!
I walked down to the shop today & there was his wooden stool, he will always have a place at our shucking table & Ellen too! We've grown into family 💙 please take this time to hold Ellen & the whole Smith Family into your prayers this Christmas eve! Hollis made quite a family & a damn good 1!!
Hollis you will be missed every single day
The candy dish will be a bit fuller & the shop a bit quieter
May you Rest easy, & watch over us til its our time to see you again 💙
