WE ARE SELLING OUR HOMEGROWN TOMATOES AT GIBBS POTATO SHACK TODAY. Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini all from locally rooted and potatoes, onions from Gibbs (onions from Oregon). Look through photos for some inspiration on what to do with your fresh produce.

1. Any sort of stir fry over noodles or rice. We did tomatoes and beef, but my my favorite is a green pepper and potato dish, just google a stir fry and see what you can find based on the produce you have!

2. Fresh salsa. This is our FAVORITE thing to have on hand this time of your. Don’t over complicate it, just add tomatoes, onions, and an assortment of peppers. Mix it up and add salt to your liking.

3. Caprese salad. Cut up a bunch of tomatoes, buy some fresh mozzarella (you’ll want to keep buying that from here on out) and slice up, then arrange it. Pour balsamic vinegar on top and add dots of pesto. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and enjoy the best tasting salad you will have ever eaten. It’s a taste and fresh and bold all in one dish!

BUY SOME CORN TOMORROW!! And if you’re lucky you might end up with little Remee in your bag 😜.

The tent will be set up tomorrow, Sept. 4 with corn and tomatoes. Message me if you want to guarantee you get what you need otherwise it is first come first serve! Tomorrow we will do honesty box style (new semester of school for me has begun 🤪), so money box will be set out with prices listed on the table. Let me know if you have any further questions!

WE ARE TAKING PRE-ORDERS NOW!

Accepting all pre-orders for corn, 1/2 bushel of tomatoes, and cantaloupe salsa. Check out our stories for further details on how to preorder and pricing.

You will still be able to come and just “shop” without placing a pre-order, but if you want to guarantee your big order then contact us by 1:00 pm on Friday (Aug. 26).

Great news! We will be selling our produce this weekend on the corner of rich rd and hwy 34. We will be selling our locally grown corn, tomatoes, zucchini, and peppers. An honesty box will be used to collect cash or check (exact change only). Venmo will also be accepted. We will have bags filled with produce and prices written on them.
