Loaf cakes: peach, blueberry, orange cranberry, lemon, apple caramel, cinnamon, banana nutand triple berry.

Did you know we have many home grown/field grown items?

Field grown spinach, asparagus, radishes, rhubarb, and of course the famous greenhouse grown lettuce (5 kinds), and cucumbers. All grown by McKinstry's on our fields and in their fields in Hadley and Chicopee.

We have a beautiful crop of asparagus today. This crop is perplexing. It only grows in the spring, yet it hates cold weather. Yesterday was an asparagus growing day, for sure.

This asparagus is from the fields Steve and I planted oh so many years ago and is expertly taken care of by Farmer Will McKinstry. We hope you enjoy the continuous harvest on our farm, under the watchful eyes of the Mckinstry's.

Another great day at the farm is expected for Mother's Day. We enjoyed your moxie and are extremely grateful for coming to visit us yesterday on a less than optimal plant shopping day. I do believe we soothed ourselves with beautiful plants, cider donuts and asparagus because, wow, did you show up. We are so appreciative.

So today, we will do it all again.

Pies, pastry, fresh fruit and vegetables, McKinstry's own asparagus (they have taken over the care of our field as well), McKinstry's own lettuce and cucumbers fresh from their Chicopee greenhouse, and of course 2 full greenhouses of lovely plants to stroll through.
