Aug 11 marked one year of me becoming part of the family business! There were times I wasn’t sure of if this was the right move but 1 year in and I have a routine and feel good about what we are doing and what the future holds.

Family business often means help from EVERYONE. An all hands on deck mentality. 

My dad, Bill, is the captain of the ship. You will often see him there, manning the front-strong and steady, The Rock!!

My mom, Jeanette, is the visionary, the rule maker. I guess we could call her the navigator.

My son Luke has really stepped up this year and helped with pallets & orders and has been very helpful in many of the day-to-day operations. We could not have done it without his brute strength.
Deckhand sounds kind of like a minimal name for a crucial member of the team!

Selah, my daughter, the activities/project coordinator, cleaning staff, and sometimes when we go shopping for the store she climbs shelves and is the muscle we need to get large boxes of products!

I’m not sure what position you would give me on a boat. I might just be the crazy passenger lol

Fun facts about me
🚗I live an hour and 25 minutes away. I make the drive 2 to 3 days a week. I don’t plan on moving because I have four children who all live where I live. Three are grown, but one is still in high school. I have owned and operated my own business since 2010 in Fargo and have no intention of slowing down or stopping in the years to come.

My passion for cooking, international food, and my Filipino culture is what drives me to keep our family business going! Being in charge of social media in my late 40s is a challenge to say the least. My videos often make ME cringe lol but they are helpful and have helped us to connect with all of you. So I guess I’ll keep doing them.😳 Cringe and all 😂
