We had a customer return an order of candy canes because it arrived broken. She reached out to us and explained why she was requesting a refund (she was so kind). We were able to go back to the kitchen and make bigger, stronger candy canes that can handle the stress of shipping.

Every candy cane is handmade by David and Jacqueline. And we think they are perfect. You might notice some in the way they twist and loop into a crook. They taste better when they are handmade. Now available online to ship to your home.

Those master candy makers who can make each candy cane exactly the same must have so much practice! It is hard to get these details perfect. So this year we have our almost perfect candy canes. They are made with sugar beets and natural colors. They taste perfect.

I need to do an experiment will you help? We have brand new packaging and we need to test it against all kinds of weather. Today we are in a heat wave and its the perfect day to see if the new bags can hold up to the worst of Michigans July heat. Last week we had the pleasure of eating some amazing Nordic Hot Dogs at Sovengard in Grand Rapids before dropping off some candy for the gift store. They feature a new hot dog every Wednesday. We love partnering with gift stores, museums and restaurants that show off local products. If you can think of your favorite place let us know! We love good local food.

We are so excited to share the new packaging that was made locally in Ohio! It will help keep the candy fresh for longer because it a special oxygen proof material. We will have 2 kinds available, Classic Hard Candy Mix and Sour Candy Mix.
