My name is Allen Gonzalez, CEO of Avenida Cacao. I started to work for in Honduras Central America from 2015 to 2018. Cacao Direct was exporting high-quality cocoa beans to the US, Europe, and Japan. They were the "Winners of The Best Cacao Beans Awards" in 2016, 2017 & 2018. 🏆🏅
I have traveled all over Honduras🇭🇳 collecting cocoa be0ans and assisting cocoa farmers with technical support.
The first community that I started to work with cacao beans in Wampusirpi, a small region in the middle of the Honduran jungle. I buy cocoa beans by the Patuca River visiting communities that don't have electricity or potable water, making the cocoa harvest one of the main economic activities.
In 2018, I started Avenida Cacao in Honduras. We have 2 stores in two international airports and wholesale in principal supermarkets of the country and more than 50 convenience stores.
In 2019, I participated in Salon Du Chocolate in París France 🇫🇷 the most important Chocolate event in the world 🌎
