One of the biggest highlights from our recent staff trip was our time with Tig at Verdant Hollow Farm in Buchanan, Michigan. The farm is lovely, the goats were a hoot and the passion and drive that the team has for regenerative farming and the welfare of their 250 animals is simply captivating.

And then there is the cheese, it is all sooooooo amazing!!! We had the hardest time picking out which cheeses were our favorites to bring into the shop but we were able to decide on a few to start with and are happy to say they are in our cooler today!

If you love small batch, high quality, eco-conscious cheese that comes packed with amazing flavor then these gems are for you!

A huge highlight from our staff trip last week was a little visit to the amazing Granor Farm where we popped off for some exploration, a little picnic, a spirits tasting and we got to chat with the amazing Abra Berens herself!
We have been fans of her books (and carry them in shop) for some time and it was such a treat to see her in action. If you are looking for a fun adventure, cooking classes, a picnic or a coursed out dinner there are so many ways to explore this magical place first hand...we are all planning out our next trip down to the farm!

Here are a few more gems we found while shopping around during our summer staff adventure; if you are around New Buffalo and Three Oaks we are big fans of Farmette for some delightful fresh bread, pastries and gourmet food. P. & E. Bottle Shop is one of our newest favorites when it comes to wine shops, what a thoughtful selection of delightful bottles! And for a little splash of spirit, Journeyman Distillery is always a fun stop too!

Our most recent adventure to Saugatuck took us to the always amazing experience that is The Southerner, a new favorite brewery Noble Twist Taphouse and of course a little tailgate party at the lovely Starlite Resort!
Nothing beats great bites with some amazing ladies!
