Ice Guru Events & SILVA Bring the GOAT Night of the Summer to The Big Room

Grand Rapids, MI. August 28, 2026 — Ice Guru Events and SILVA are teaming up for one of the most unexpected nights downtown Grand Rapids has ever seen. The SILVA Silent Disc-Goat takes over The Big Room on Friday, August 28, doors at 7:00 PM, Silent Disco running 7:30–10:30 PM.

Guests dance with wireless headphones, choosing between three live music channels powered by DJ 1Lump$um, Phnix, and BlüeJay. But the real stars of the night come courtesy of The Critter Barn — a Zeeland-based nonprofit dedicated to connecting people of all ages with the miracles of nature. They're bringing their traveling farm to the terrace, where guests can step away from the dance floor from 8:00–9:30 PM to meet 😍 live baby chicks, rabbits, bantam chickens, a rooster, ducks, and pygmy goats.😍

"We've done silent discos with themes and costumes, but with live animals from The Critter Barn, and three incredible DJs takes the experience to a whole new level. It's going to be a night people talk about for a long time." said Ice Guru Events.
Arrive early and enjoy dinner at SILVA’s restaurant, open 4:00 PM–11:00 PM (kitchen closes at 10:00 PM), with a full bar available during disco hours.
