Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone is having a great pres day. I want to do something a bit different this year with the farmers market. Hopefully, freeing up myself more time during the summer months. I've already reached out to a few people thru text and calls.
I would like the Market to be turned over to a committee. I feel like we'll have even better response to the market if local people, not just myself, have more interest in it. I also feel like a committee will be able to reach more vendors, more advertisers, and more resources for our town. I will set on the committee for as long as y'all need me to help, but I think this should be town owned and operated. If you're interested in being on this committee please get in touch with me and let's set some meeting dates.

Added some more vendors for our last Market of the season. Fried pies, canned goods, chickens, goats, Claudia cakes, tamales and salsa, BBQ, homemade soaps, pecans, snow cones, and beef jerky. And as always, any veggies I can lay my hands on.

Plus, the 4-h parade of pumpkins!!!!

Grandfield Farmer's Market Western Days

Don't forget farmers market Saturday will start at 4 this time. It's the last one of the season. Be sure to grab BBQ, and ask BJ and Eric about smoking your thanksgiving turkey for you. They will do a great job and take some load off of you.
Also, make your thanksgiving sweets order from Claudia, and buy some Halloween sweets while you visit.
There will also be a booth with fresh pecans, you gotta have some of those.
Adela will have her homemade tamales and salsa.
Tara will have fried pies!!!!!! My favorite!
Callie will be open down the street with Tupperware deals, gotta have a place for leftovers on Thanksgiving.
Surfer Snow will be there, and the beef jerky lady! I can't think of a better stocking stuffer than artisan beef jerky.
And as always I will have veggies, and I'm praying for pumpkins!
Also, the 4-H pumpkin parade. Everyone can enter. Y'all come see us.

On the 29th, the farmers market will be back with BBQ from Eric and Bj, veggies, snow cones, seasoning/spices, and Claudia cakes, Tara with fried pies, and tamales!!!! Callie will have her shop open with terrific deals on Tupperware.

PLUS, the 4-H parade of pumpkins. Everyone is invited to decorate a pumpkin and enter, there's a category for all.

Then, we will finish the night with a city wide trunk or treat. Please, come out and support both events. Come see why Grandfield is the place to be!
