How the Granville Farmers Market came to be...
It was late March of 2017 when Nicole Berndt and Jess Ripley were sitting together eating quiche and celebrating the beginning of spring. Somehow, amidst conversation, the topic of creating a farmers market in Granville came up. We discussed the time and day of the week , and realized it would begin in less than 2 months. By Mother’s Day 2017 we had our first Granville Farmers Market. With this market we still have some kinks to work out, but all in all we feel that we have a great community that supports us, our businesses, and that shops at the market! Here’s to hopefully a long running, successful market for all to enjoy!
