It’s rhubarb season!
My Grandma Morrison had a rhubarb bush right by her dog Beebe’s headstone out back. Grandma would cut us a stalk and give my brother and me a cup of sugar each, and we’d walk around the yard dipping the end of the stalk in the sugar. It was sour and sweet all at the same time. Fast forward, and today I made a rhubarb blueberry crisp. I had a few strawberries in the refrigerator that I added as well, and it turned out so so good! I’ve included the recipe for you.
