Thank You to all our Awesome customers for the support you continue to give us. We know this is something new to most of you who shopped with us on the porch in Pleasant Valley, but you will have more options, such as guaranteed hours, open everyday, shop at your convenience, and psst we will now be open year round 🎉 Oh, we didn’t mention all the other wonderful meat options you now have, feed for your animals, hay, straw, and more friendly folks that are in and out ready to help with questions or anything you might need. We put together a few pictures from one of our trusted growers high tunnels to show how you can have local Ohio Tomatoes in the middle of May. It all starts in December and requires careful planning . This process also helps extend your season in the late fall. In the pictures you can see tomato plants and cucumber plants being grown. In other pictures we have to incorporate bumblebees for pollination purposes. Aphids and other pests also need to be controlled with lady beetles or wasps. Hope this helps and educates everyone on how beneficial high tunnels are in the wild Ohio growing seasons.👨‍🌾 This is your Buckskin Tip of the Week! 🍅🥒
