I'm a few days behind but here is the first video from last week's "Live at the Sunshine Shack". It was the last of the year and we already miss doing them!

Here is Paris Ray singing "Valerie". She absolutely crushed it, on a beautiful (and hot!) day, to a full and lovely crowd.

Looking forward to next year already!

Hard to believe we only have two Tuesdays left in August!

This accidental music 'happening' has been a personal highlight of the summer.

This week we have Kirsten Thien, and Erik Boyd super talented roots/blues artists heading out from NYC to play the beach!

Last week: Jon DiVello with "Friend of the Devil":

Our full announcement:

Hey Little Creek Family. We miss you!

And it looks like it will be a while before we:
-Sit elbow to elbow
-Steam up the windows
-Sit around the fire
-Skinny dip on hot summer’s nights

You know who you are. ;)

This doesn’t mean we can’t make a summer full of memories. We don’t want to sit here and wish our life away, fast forwarding to some distant future. So we hope you will join us on a grand experiment as we “Hold Fast” at Little Creek.

This little shack that we call home is a damned resilient place. 140 years of abuse dropped upon it. Hell, we’ve flooded more times than I care to recall. But what is more iconic than a little shack? Some of the most important meals I’ve ever had have been out of carts and shacks. The Detroit Coney for starters. Or the Quarterdeck in Edgartown. The Pyslur stand in Iceland. Painkillers at the Soggy Dollar.

So this summer, we flashback to the resilient great American snack shack.

We are excited to bring back some tastes of summer like our Crab Roll. And everyone knows we have something of a hot dog obsession here. And what summertime picnic would be complete without some dogs?

Like Pat Nelson’s Dog- a homage to vikings and the iconic street food of Iceland. Or a nod to my Detroit roots in our loaded chili dog. Bring a knife and fork.

Our chowder is sticking around. Chock full of clams and sliver thin potatoes.
Bloody marys or painkillers by the glass or grab a quart milk jug and make it a party.
Perfect to pair with a smoked fish spread that is only missing the Sunday Times.

Now the rules seem to change daily, so keep an eye on instagram for updates. Right now- you’ll have to order online or by phone and grab/go. Take it home, make a picnic, sit in the park!

So, what about the oysters? We’re with you. We can’t wait to get back to shucking. And our local farmers need us to get started again asap. And as soon as we can make that work- trust me we will be eagerly loading the coolers and crushing the ice.

More than anything, thank you all for your incredible support.
We hope you and your families are safe.
