It’s about that time of year! 🎄🎅

Greenville Municipal Police Association’s Blue Santa Update 2024

💙We will be bringing back our traditional GMPA Blue Santa program this year and Blue Santa will be making his rounds delivering gifts to our young crime victims in our community from the Hunt County Child Advocacy Center.

Blue Santa is a program in Hunt County for abused Children that helps to form a positive relationship/bridge between law enforcement and the child victims. The community helps supply food and Christmas gifts for the Police Officers to hand deliver to each child - which accounts to HUNDREDS of people since it started in 2015.

We have had many messages and phone calls over the last few weeks inquiring about GMPA Blue Santa 2020 and after much thought , brainstorming and heartache on what to do- we had to come to the conclusion that Blue Santa will not be happening this year due to Covid. It’s very disappointing and not what any of us wanted, but keeping everyone’s safety and health first and foremost- it is our only option.

Thank you to everyone who supports GMPA Blue Santa, you are what makes this program go round and we hope to see everyone next year! 💙🤍💙🤍
