It is with both heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we share the news of Bob Sump’s retirement after more than 55 years of dedicated service to our community.

For over half a century, Bob has been more than just a provider of high-quality meats—he has been a trusted neighbor, a friendly face, and a steadfast supporter of families near and far. His work has always gone beyond business; it has been about care, tradition, and building relationships that last a lifetime.

While it is difficult for us to make this announcement, we are also filled with overwhelming thankfulness—for Bob’s tireless dedication, for the countless customers who have supported Gateway Farm Freezer Meats over the years, and for the community that has grown around this work.

Bob’s retirement marks the end of an era, and though we are saddened by this change, we celebrate a legacy defined by service, quality, and heart. On behalf of Bob and all of us at Gateway Farm Freezer Meats, thank you for allowing us to be part of your tables, your celebrations, and your everyday lives for so many years.
