Barberry Row Produce, a small farm located in Greenwood DE has been growing a variety of orchard fruit, berries and vegetables using only natural and sustainable farming practices. The produce is available through our "order as required" CSA program. Each week, customers are notified as to the available items and price. The pack can either be picked up at one of our locations in Sussex County or delivered to your door for a small charge.

Our 2014 CSA Program
Here’s how this year’s program will work. Each week, starting in June, we will feature a week’s worth of seasonal produce for two people at a cost of $24.00 per pack and give you three purchase options. (1) You can pick your pre-ordered pack up at one of our designated locations in Lewes, Greenwood or Milford or (2) You can have it delivered to your home for a $2.00 extra charge. Or, (3) You could “work” for it. If this last option interests you, you would come to the farm for a three hour “shift” (typically 9:00AM to noon) one day during the week and help with farm chores. For your efforts, you will leave with a full CSA share of the week’s selection.
Regardless of your choice, there is no upfront obligation. Each week, we will notify you of the current selection and you will respond and let us know how you would like to get your pack. If you wish to come out and work, we’ll let you know if we could use your help that week and schedule your involvement.
Don’t be alarmed, we won’t ask you to drive a tractor or shovel compost. Just bring a pair of garden gloves and sunscreen and we’ll show you what to do. It may be pulling weeds or hand watering or picking vegetables. This was the original concept of CSA- Community Supported Agriculture. We’re just getting back to our roots.
All you have to do now is let us know which option appeals to you. We will get back to you and provide additional details such as anticipated CSA items and pick up locations. Remember, there is no obligation, right now we’re gathering information.
