Attention Grove Hill Farmers Market vendors! As we are gearing up to open for the Spring growing season, be sure to get your Cottage Food license and/or Local Grower’s permits updated.

For more information about licenses/permits, contact the Clarke County - Alabama Extension office at 251-275-3121 during regular business hours.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of our market manager, James Parnell. Mr. James was a truly great man whose devotion to this community, and especially to this farmers market, was felt by everyone who knew him. His simple life, kindness, and steady presence helped shape the market into what it is today. As we move forward, we carry his memory with us and are committed to seeing the market grow more than ever this year in his honor. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. We love you, JP. 💛

Arrangements: Thursday, January 8th at Grove Hill Methodist Church. Visitation is 1-2pm and Service at 2pm.

And just like that, our Summer Season at the Market has come to a close.💛

We are feeling a tad sentimental today as we pack up today for after our last official market of the summer.🥹 Each and every Thursday has been a gift, getting to witness not only good food and produce, but laughter, friendly faces, and a whole lot of community. 💚🌞

Thank you to EVERY single vendor, customer, volunteer, and passerby who made this season so special. Your support means more than you know!😊

🌟However don't worry, we won't be gone until next summer! The Market will be returning this October, and we will share details as time gets closer!🧡 Until then, thank you again for making this Market a bright spot in our town.
