Some of our girls yesterday, and some of their plans for next year. I'm a mix of excited and overwhelmed with my goat plans for next year 😆 Regardless, stay tuned for breeding plans, including our mini girls, and kidding updates! I feel blessed with this group we have, and am extra attached to our lovely girls 🐐

REALLY excited to have gotten this girl today 😍 She will be a wonderful addition to our herd, including our select few, high quality Nubian does. It was so nice to meet a local Nubian enthusiast with some really nice goats as well. This girl, who we've decided to name Ophelia, will have time to mature and grow, and hopefully produce some nice kids and milk, likely in 2028. Thank you Prairie Rose Farms ❤️

**FLASH SALE**

Paddy had to sit down to tell y'all, we are overrun with beautiful chicken eggs, and it's about the only thing Paddy and her gang won't eat 😆 Eggs will be $3/dz Friday, Saturday, Sunday this week! Let me know if you'd like to claim yours, and I can put them out in the roadside stand!

All year, you can have rock solid fences and secure enclosures... until rut hits 😂 then it's a full time job checking fences to make sure these boys and girls make good decisions. I don't think there's anything more valuable around here than baling twine and double ended snaps 🤣 🔊 A couple days without a doe in heat would be a blessing 😆

Paddy and Maverick's first date yesterday 😆 I love how both of them are turning out. Paddy will be my first milker from Jerry, and I can't wait to see how she does, and what kind of improvements she has on her dam, Aries (even though Aries is very nice). Paddy has a LOT of width and substance. Maverick is a little more refined, while staying very correct. Both are from very nice milky lines.🤞 for spotted, polled doelings in January 😂 Reach out early if interested in kids next year!

I wasn't too sure how Roosevelt was going to pan out. He has great genetics, heavy Saada lines, but I think he may have had cocci before I bought him, and he always looked behind the curve on growth. He's about a year and a half old now though, and really coming into his own. His head is phenomenal. I expect him to keep filling out and growing, and hope to use him finally next year 🤞

Since y'all can't smell a video, let me tell you, the boys are already getting stinky around here 😅 I'll be reinforcing the cheap welded wire fence this weekend with some cattle panels.

(There are several wethers in this video as well)
