🐄 🥛 June is DAIRY MONTH! 🥛 🐄

🥛 Originally established in 1937 as "National Milk Month," it has since grown into a celebration of ALL dairy products, as well as sharing the stories of the hard working dairy farmers and families that are behind milk and dairy products making it to grocery store shelves every day.

🐄 Our Farm Fact Fridays will focus on dairy facts, and as always, we are open to answering any other questions you may have about our working girls!

📸 Pictured are the three dairy breeds we have here on our farm: Brown Swiss, Jersey, and Holstein (Left to Right). You can easily see the difference in their size and colors!

Farm Fact Friday 💦 🌳

🎉 We are blessed to live in our supportive agriculture community, and have found a local orchard or two willing and able to work with us to make sure we have peaches 🍑 and apples 🍎 this year for you, in addition to whatever survived the hard frost in our own orchard.

👆 More to come on this as the season gets closer! Peaches mid-July, Apples end of August.

🚜 That being said, despite some of our orchard trees being bare of produce this year, we still have to do all the same work we normally would to ensure our trees stay healthy and happy.

👏 A farmer's work is never done, even in challenging years when things don't pan our productively the way we need and want them to.

Farm Fact Friday: RAIN IS A GOOD THING! 🌧️

🥵 Since beginning of 2024, we're well over 20 inches behind on rain!

💦 We welcome this calm rain (without storm damage) and hope it continues as forecasted so our crops and produce can THRIVE!
