They are texel haired so it will get a bit longer and crazier. 😆

Let us know if you are interested. They are low maintenance pets. We love them!

Eliel planted lots of plants from seeds. I know we are going to have cucumbers and tomatoes but I’m not sure what else. Stay tuned!!!

In addition to fresh produce and fresh eggs, we are also raising up some meat birds so that we can have fresh chicken.

It’s a lot of work creating our own little homestead but it’s worth it. (I can say that because Eliel does most of the work 🤣🤣🤣).

Home made chicken and veggie soup with a rooster raised in our own home.

Fun fact: Roosters make great bone broth but the meat is pretty tough. So, I used what I could and added in different chicken meat. I love soup with lots of meat and veggies in it.

What can we say, it’s a family thing. Elias is working hard to hold the fort down while Eliel makes sure I’m taken care of in the hospital.

We got 31 eggs today and look how gorgeous!
