Chronister Farms, LLC Pasture Based Farm I raise beef cattle, sheep, egg laying hens, meat chickens, and turkeys all on pasture. My sheep are St. St.

I also raise pigs, currently in a confined situation but hoping to get everything set up to raise them on pasture as well. My cows do NOT get fed grains, however everything else gets supplemented with Non-GMO (non- genetically modified) grains. I strive to provide the best environment for my animals while producing the best tasting products for my customers. I also, raise rabbits, which I hope at

some point to raise on pasture as well; I just need to figure out how to keep them from digging out & escaping...

My cattle are all Angus crossed with Texas Longhorn. Croix Hair sheep, which are great for meat because they have hair with no lanolin verses wool which has lanolin and gives that off taste some people are familiar with. Croix are a heritage My hogs are Tamworths which is also a heritage breed. My rabbits are California and will be crossed with American, which is a heritage breed. I raise Cornish-cross broilers (meat chickens), my layers are Golden Buffs, Black Australorpes, and New Hampshire Reds, and I raise a variety of turkeys mainly Broad Breasted Whites.

We have 8 turkeys available for sale for Thanksgiving. They will be fresh, not frozen. Delivery/pick-up should be either late Tuesday or Wednesday, the week of Thanksgiving. Let me know if you want a fresh turkey for your Thanksgiving feast! 🦃🦃🦃 $3.50/pound.
