Well! Our local PERFECT PEACH PIE contest winner, Grethcn Gautier, went on to the State-Wide contest tonight at Tortilla PRess in Collingswood and she WON!!! She featured the same fresh-fruit, open pie style peach pie that won her first place in our local contest. Gretchen will select an overnight stay at either Atlantic City or Cape May which will include dinner and hotel stay. Congratulations Gretchen!! Her daugher, Aimee, is pictured with the winning pie at the Peach Party contest!

i good time was had by all at last Saturday's 2nd Annual Peach Party. A little rain did not chase the fans of peaches away and Pastore Orchards sold out all they brought!! Brittany Lupinetti did an outstanding job with their booth, again!. Gretchen Gautier won the Perfect Peach Pie contest and her assistant, daughter Aimee, accepted the prize and posed with their winning pie! Tom Mature graciously brought his vintage peach farm truck and allowed event sponsor, Ivy Cottage, to take complimentary family pictures on the tractor... and the current NJ Peach Queen, Katrina DeWitt and past queen, Melissa Holtzhauser, visited the Party and mingled with customers from Casciano Coffee Bar & Sweetery!!

Besides the Peach Cobbler from Inferrera's Market, look for Peach tarts, pies, cheesecake and filled cookies from Fandessa Gourmet Goodies, Peach cannoli and their new pizza from Ricca's Brick Oven Pizza, Peach hand pies, ginger peach tea and peach overnight oatmeal from Casciano Coffee Bar & Sweetery, peach pancakes from Bellevue Bakery, Peach funnel cake from the St. Joe's booth, peach jelly's, mustard and jam from the Ivy Cottage, and peach french toast, lemonade and complimentary glitter tattoos from Sassy Sweet and if that's not enough - it will all be complimented by live bluegrass music by Home Cookin'!!!

CANCELLATION FOR TOMORROW!! Due to the overwhelmingly ominous weather prediction for tomorrow morning, we have decided to cancel the Peach Party --- however have rescheduled all the fun and delicious peach products for August 23rd -- same time -- same place!! Put us on your calendar for a Peachy day in downtown Hammonton! We plan to "paint the town Peach!"
