This Friday’s tasting will feature Cabernet Sauvignon. The four Cabs come from Washington, Chile and two from California. Come in and taste these great reds, and two whites. Then let Rob help you find some rib eyes, strips or tips to toss on the grill.

Two more wines for mom to taste on Friday!
We will be offering two unique Italian wines to go with the four wines posted yesterday.
First, from the North-western region of Piedmont we will be pouring Michele Chiarlo Arneis. Arneis is a white with the dryness and aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc and vibrancy and minerality of Riesling.
Also, from Emilia-Romagna in central Italy, we will taste a Lambrusco from Cleto Chiarli.
Approach this wine with an open mind. For many folks, your last memory of Lambrusco was in your teens or twenties. This is not that wine!

Mother’s Day weekend tasting Friday 3:30-5:45.
Join us and taste a Sancerre, a blend from Paso Robles, a value oriented Pinot Noir from France and a California Pinot Noir.
The California Pinot Noir is from the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA, possibly the finest source of Pinot in California. Don’t miss this wine!!

This Friday's tasting which was originally planned as Rose and BBQ wines is going to be adjusted to Springtime whites and BBQ reds. There are not enough Roses in market yet. Rather than a dedicated Rose event, I will slowly roll them out as they arrive in the store over the next couple of months.
The schedule for May tastings will be out later this week.

This week‘s tasting features wines from somewhat obscure grapes. While all of them are very good, I am excited to taste Ghiaia Nera from Sicily made from Nerello Mascalese.
The tasting is tomorrow, April 24 3:30-545. See you there!

For those of you in a rut, drinking the same wines from the same grapes, this Friday's tasting is for you. We will be sampling wines from some of the more obscure grapes.
There will be no Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc. Forget Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel. Even Sangiovese, Riesling and Grenache will be kicked to the curb this week. Stay tuned for the tasting list...better still, come in Friday from 3:30-5:45 to be surprised.
