The Market at WildAugust is every Friday night from 6 until 9. I will be there with smoked bbq, banana pudding, pasta salad, chicken salad, fresh baked good, kolaches , homemade ice cream , cheese cake on a stick dipped in a chocolate ganache and more. Come hungry.

That beautiful, pink-veined leaf is a caladium. They are easy to grow in The Valley if you plant them in shade in early spring. I have ordered several varieties to plant here at WildAugust, and I expect to have extras. These are bulbs, not plants, and I should have them available by mid-March. Please let me know in the comments if you’re interested in purchasing some for your own gardens, and I’ll put you on my list to be notified when they arrive. 🌸
