2026-2027 Deer Processing Price List

Before dropping off, please make sure:
• The deer is field dressed
• A confirmation number is included

Pricing:
• Standard processing – $140
• $50 deposit required
• Specialty items are an additional cost

KY Hunters for the Hungry donation deer:
• No deposit required
• Deer must be field dressed with a confirmation number

Capes:
• $30
• DCP will not call you when your cape is ready. If you drop off today, cape will be ready tomorrow. Feel free to call & check on status prior to picking up. We are not responsible for lost or damagaed capes left longer than 2 days.

It may be a heat wave here in Central KY, but tomorrow is Opening Day of the 2026–2027 deer season🦌

Our drop box will be OPEN in the morning, 9/5!

Our daughter is playing softball tomorrow, so we won’t be at the shop, but no worries! Please utilize our convenient 24/7 drop box for your deer.

As you gear up for the 2026-2027 deer season, we encourage you to consider supporting Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry. This incredible program helps provide meals for families in need, and we’re proud to serve as a local drop-off location, located just 2 miles off the bypass in Harrodsburg.

Giving back has never been easier, and we can’t wait to see the impact our community makes this season!

Deer Season will be here SOON🦌

A donated deer may be free for the hunter to give—but turning that deer into food for a Kentucky family still takes processing, packaging, freezer space, and skilled labor.

That’s where financial supporters come in.

Hunters provide the harvest. Processors do the work. Donors help make sure that venison reaches local food pantries and families across Kentucky.
