We're 24 days into spring and I'm running late to make this post.
Tractors 馃殰 are now on the roads of Oceana County, the birds 馃惁 are chirping and construction has begun.

That's how you know spring has arrived. And it won't be too long before we see buses of men being bussed from field to field doing some hard, manual labor in many of our local farms.
As I've mentioned in years past, many workers arrive with just a backpack with the essentials, and may lack appropriate clothing for our much cooler weather than where they are arriving from.
We are now accepting clothing that may be useful for them. Time to Spring clean those closets out! Hoodies, long sleeve shirts, joggers, coats, etc, would greatly be appreciated to help incorporate some cold weather essentials to their wardrobe.
FYI, arm sleeves and/or long clean(new馃槵) tube socks are also really appreciated when long sleeved tops aren't available.
We place these out for workers to take when visiting the store on a first come basis.
I love seeing our locals come out and show their support for this event. For those who have been calling, asking when we are starting.... it's go time!
And thank you very much to those who already brought clothes in or think of the workers and drop items off during other times of the year. 馃檹
