We keep losing farms.

Family farms, commercial farms, doesn’t matter. Farming is disappearing.

But not here. Not today. Not on this ranch. And not on our watch. At least not today.

Support your local producers. But locally, buy fresh, buy from someone you know.

And if you don’t, support agriculture! In voting, in politics, in conversation - farmers need advocates too.

Today is an uncertain day for American farmers.

President Trump announced the allowance of 300,000 metric tons of foreign ground beef into the market over the next 90 days. The goal = lower beef prices.

And in order to allow for the “space” to grow the American cattle herd.

The US cattle herd is at a historical low with trends, only forecasting a continued downward turn.

this level of import is likely to crash the live cattle market. Does crashing the market give growers confidence to retain more heifers and grow their herd?

Or does it create further uncertainty about the profitability of cattle ranching in the future.

in our opinion, consumers should have a choice. We understand that beef prices are at record height. But you should have the choice to buy foreign or domestic. Bring country of origin labeling to the U.S.

Then you have knowledge behind each purchase.
