Vendors are being sought for what is being described as the first curriculum-based, kid-friendly Farmers Market at Hayden Charter School on Government Way.

The market is planned for every Friday from May 1 through September, running from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and organizers say it will feature food trucks, an enclosed playground, shopping, and activities for families.

Organizers say there is a strong need right now for plant and vegetable vendors, including those offering fruit trees, plants, starters, vegetables, and sprouts. They are also looking for craft vendors who make their own products.

To our valued vendors and community members,

We sincerely apologize for the delay in processing vendor applications. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that the North Idaho Markets meets every regulatory and safety requirement before opening. A last‑minute change to our facility agreement introduced an additional detail that must be addressed, and we are waiting on final approval. We appreciate your patience as we finalize this issue.

Out of respect for our vendors and the community—and to ensure we deliver the safest and most successful market possible—we have decided to move the opening of the market to Friday, May 1, 2026. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope everyone is doing well, and we understand that delays can be frustrating. Please know that we are holding all vendor applications in queue and will begin processing them as soon as this final detail is resolved.

We have some exciting news to share: the Hayden Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon‑cutting ceremony at our grand opening! We’ll also be joined by members of the local news media and the Mayor of Hayden to celebrate this milestone. We’re honored by this level of community support and thrilled to offer you a vibrant market experience on May 1. We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a memorable kickoff.

Vendor Application Update!

We’re excited to announce that the Board will begin reviewing applications on Monday, March 30 and will continue through April 10.

After April 10, all approved vendors paying for the season will receive a Square invoice for the total amount due. Day vendors will receive Square invoices as well.

After applications are reviewed, approved vendors will also be sent our Vendor Rules Agreement, which must be completed and returned before Opening Day.

Thank you to everyone who has applied so far. We truly appreciate the interest and support as we get closer to launching North Idaho Markets.

You do not have to commit to the full season to join North Idaho Markets.

If you want to come as a pop-in vendor on a Friday that works for your schedule, you can do that too.

Whether you want to test the market, join us once in a while, or just pick the Fridays that fit your business best, we’d love to have you.

Our market is every Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and we do offer a pay-per-day vendor option in addition to half-season and full-season spots.

Welcome to North Idaho Markets.

We are building a family-friendly farmers market in Hayden focused on local vendors, community connection, and hands-on learning for kids and families.

We are proud to share that this market is sponsored by the Hayden Chamber of Commerce, helping support our mission to build a strong local market that benefits small businesses, families, and the wider community.
