To those concerned about the dismissal of two of our treasured employees this past Friday- they were NOT FIRED; they did nothing wrong. It was with heavy hearts that the decision to lay them off was made. However, their shifts were shifts that used up our financial resources instead of bringing in income, and it was either this difficult choice or to close the doors, forcing EVERYONE to find new jobs, and HOPE we could open the doors again, or shut them completely down. This was a business decision; if they had covered different times of the day for their shifts, it would have been someone else during these hours. We wish these two the best, although we understand their frustration. But to repeat, this was not a personal attack on their character or performance; it was simply that our business was forced to cut hours. They were NOT fired. We are very sad to see them go.
