What a wonderful day at the Heathsville Farmers Market! Saturday’s Kids Day was a blast, filled with smiles, hands-on activities, new discoveries, and plenty of family fun. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day, shop local, and support our amazing vendors.
A special thank you goes to our friends at HVVN Farm for bringing along two very popular guests, Lady J, their friendly hen, and Chopper, their handsome rooster! They were a huge hit and could have entertained the kids for hours!
Thank you to all of our incredible farmers, artisans, food vendors, guild members, and volunteers who helped make Kids Day such a memorable day for our community.
And the fun continues! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 22, and join us again at the Heathsville Farmers Market—plus the largest antique car show in the Northern Neck! Tickets are going fast! In just one hour, the Tavern Woodworkers Guild will be drawing winners for their raffle. There's still time to buy tickets! (One for $10, three for $20.) The prizes are super but if the winner chooses, they can take certificates to purchase other items.

Create, Craft & Explore at Kids Day at our next Farmer's Market!

Join us Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM for one of our favorite events of the year!

Kids will enjoy hands-on fun with the talented artisans of the Northern Neck Heritage Arts Center. They'll work the blacksmith's forge bellows, tap hot steel with a hammer, build and test a wooden boat, help create a community quilt, and discover even more traditional crafts and activities.

Shop fresh local produce, handmade goods, baked treats, and enjoy lunch at the Tavern Café. Bring the whole family for a day of creativity, community, and fun!

Kids Day is Coming to our next Farmers Market!

Get ready for one of our most popular events of the season! Bring the whole family to the Heathsville Farmers Market on Saturday, July 25, for a morning filled with hands-on activities, creativity, and old-fashioned fun.

Young and older visitors will have the opportunity to learn traditional crafts and enjoy interactive activities led by the talented guild members of the Northern Neck Heritage Arts Center.

Experience the excitement of traditional crafts by working the blacksmith's forge bellows and tapping hot metal with a hammer under supervision, building and testing their own wooden sailboat or powerboat with the Woodworking Guild, creating a quilt block for a community quilt with the Quilting Guild, and enjoying even more hands-on activities led by our talented guild members.

Plus even more fun! Kids can enjoy additional hands-on activities and demonstrations presented by our talented guild members, giving them the chance to explore traditional skills, discover new hobbies, and experience the joy of making something with their own hands.

It's the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning, making memories, learning new skills, supporting local businesses, and celebrating the traditions that make our community special.
